- Awarded a scholarship to attend the ISES Solar World Congress, Gothenburg Sweden, June 14-19, 2003.
- Awarded a travel and accommodation grant to participate in the “South-North Initiative on Renewable Energy Conference” in Cologne Germany. February 10-12, 2003.
- Won the First Prize Award in the category of Environmental Engineering at the Annual Schtroumpf Environmental Contest for work on Biodiesel as a fuel alternative. July 14th 2002.
